Activities
Mission
:
GNEC Engineering Company has been
responsible for performing engineering services for most of
gas power plants in Ministry of Energy and some of
co-generation and combined cycle power plants of Ministry of
Oil in the past and at present. The total capacity of all
power plants which have been under supervision of GNEC and
operative now is more than 10000 MW. Some of the mentioned
power plants have been based on turn-key contracts and the
responsibility of design for some systems and coordination
of design works procurement of equipments and execution of
work have been performed by GNEC.
In addition to above activity, this company
is responsible for inspection and quality, control of power
plant equipments manufacturing and for similar industries in
factories inside the country.
GNEC as the first Iranian consulting company
has activity participated in execution of Gas Turbine Power
Plant development projects as a major national project. One
of important objectives of the mentioned projects, in
addition to power generations have been the process of
transferring manufacturing technology of V94.2
model from Siemens and ABB And also transfer of
technology and internal manufacturing of main gas power
station equipments including generator, transformers,
electrical panels and control system, which under advanced
and site supervision projects of this consultant, such as
Kerman power plant, Kazeroon, … have executed or are under
execution. Testing and design approval for construction of
these equipments inside Iranian factories have been also
performed by the specialists of this company.
Types of GNEC activities:
1)
Consultation and
supervision on manufacturing
Co-operation with client in preparation of
technical Specification and tender documents, putting out to
tender, proposal appraisal, appointment of winner of tender
and contract technical negotiation until contract
assignment.
Co-operation in feasibility studies and
selection of a suitable site for power plant construction.
Advanced and site supervision services and
supervision on manufacturing and factory test of equipments.
2)
Management of
contract (MC)
For performance and presentation of project
management services before execution phase, such as services
before opening letter of credit of the project management

consideration of existing capabilities in this respect has
