Power System studies Activities:
In power system studies department, all studies necessary for
technically and economically optimal design of various electrical power supplies
to oil and industrial complex are carried out.
Some of these tasks are as follows:
Generation expansion studies including location
finding as well as determination of the desirable types and capacities of power
plants.
Comprehensive studies on power transmission and
distribution networks including planning and network studies (static and
dynamic)
Determination of the capacities of stations,
lines and voltage levels.
Conducting studies required for minimization of
short circuits in the network Designing rings in transmission and power supply
over-distribution to industrial facilities.
Establishing Function and operation philosophy in
the network and large industrial facilities.
Transient and switching studies.
Power loss reduction studies.
Electrical power market studies.
Designing and applying load shedding in
industrial networks.
Network Studies Section Activities
In this section necessary studies to design a network
which is optimum economically and technically is done for different fields of
network investigation and industrial and oil companies electrical network
design.
Different kinds of activities:
The activities of this section are as follow:
Generation investigation studies containing
placement of power stations and determination of the type and optimum capacity
of them.
Extensive transmission and distribution network
studies containing planning and studying the network (static and dynamic
studies)
Determination the capacity of substations and
lines and voltage levels.
Necessary studies to reduce short circuit level
of the network.
Designing rings for industrial companies
transmission and sub- transmission networks.
Determination of operation philosophy of network
and huge industrial companies
Transient and switching studies.
Energy loss reduction.
Electricity marketing studies.
Design and operation of load shedding for
industrial companies.
